Cancer is the growth of abnormal cells in the body. These extra cells grow together and form masses called tumors. In bladder cancer, these tumors form in the bladder.
Bladder cancer is currently the sixth most common cancer in the United States. Medical advances continue to improve the survival rates for this type of cancer.
How is Bladder Cancer Diagnosed and Treated?
A consultation with our urologists will include a medical history and physical examination, including urinalysis. Cystoscopy can be used to view the inside of the bladder. Treatment options include removing the tumors and immunotherapy.
