Cancer is the growth of abnormal cells in the body. These extra cells grow together and form masses called tumors. In bladder cancer, these tumors form in the bladder.

Bladder cancer is currently the sixth most common cancer in the United States. Medical advances continue to improve the survival rates for this type of cancer.
